8x1 Regeneration Taps
2
Inline or Span Ports
Models are available for either inline or Span deployments. Inline models
tap one link and create eight copies of the trafc traveling in one direction
on the link, plus eight copies of the trafc traveling in the other direction. A
monitoring tool with two NICs has visibility of the full duplex trafc at full
link bandwidth.
Span models act as two independent regeneration functions, with eight copies
created for the trafc from two separate Span ports or external taps.
